Julia Zinga
Julia is a dietitian with 25 years experience helping people feel their best through good nutrition.  She holds a Bachelor of Health Science (Nutrition & Dietetics, Hons), a Graduate Diploma of Diabetes Education & Management,  and recently completed her PhD on the topic of Addressing Food Insecurity During Pregnancy Within Antenatal Healthcare.
Julia believes in meeting people "where they're at" and working alongside them to find practical,  patient-centred ways to support their health and wellbeing. She recognises that people learn in different ways - some prefer text-based information,  while others benefit from visual resources. To address this, she developed How Much Carb in That?, a tool designed to meet the learning needs of a diverse range of people with diabetes, as well as anyone interested in understanding the carbohydrate content of their food.
